Operators and pedestrians in mining and industrial environments are at risk in areas with limited visibility. Blind spots and moving equipment increase the likelihood of accidents, especially in high-traffic zones.

The solution

Proximity Assist PA2000

Dedicated to reactive detection, the PA2000 uses AI-powered cameras to monitor hazard zones based on the direction of machine travel. When a potential operator or pedestrian is detected in a hazard zone, the system automatically triggers safety protocols to prevent contact with machinery.

How it works

AI (Artificial Intelligence) Cameras

The direction-activated proximity detection is designed to automatically activate the appropriate directional AI Camera and monitor the Hazard Zone based on the direction of machine travel.

  1. Detection occurs when a potential operator and/or pedestrian is detected in a defined Hazard Zone.

  2. Safety protocols are then triggered and applied to help prevent the operator and/or pedestrian from contact with machinery.

    For Example: Safety protocols can be set to Apply Brakes, Throttle to idle and Sound Horn or any combination as required when detection occurs. THE SYSTEM USES AI TO ENHANCE DETECTION, IT DOES NOT REPLACE VISUAL CHECKS OR BEST OPERATOR PRACTICES.
